"Works When It Wants, and Help Was Useless"
This thing only seems to work when it wants to. I tried reaching out to the community for help, but it didn’t really go anywhere. No one actually helped, so I was just left stuck with the same problem

"Signal drops all the time"
Hardly any signal. Pretty much everywhere. Calls cut out constantly. Really frustrating.
"Decent for the money"
I’ve been using giffgaff for a while now and, yeah, for what I pay it’s not bad at all. The goodybags are simple enough to swap around, so you’re not tied down to one thing all the time, which I like. Signal’s a bit all over the place sometimes, depends where you are really, but day to day it mostly does the job. For the price, I can’t really complain...

"Support helped, but the wait was frustrating"
The support team did eventually get back to me, and they were okay once they did, but the waiting made the whole thing feel more stressful than it needed to be. I also had to explain the same issue twice, which was a bit frustrating because it felt like I wasn’t really being heard the first time. Not a terrible experience overall, just slower and more tiring than I expected.

"I keep having full bars, but the data..."
I keep having full bars, but the data is still painfully slow most days?? Pages take forever to load and videos just sit there buffering. I don’t really get it, but at this point it’s more hassle than it’s worth

"SIM was easy enough to get going"
My Giffgaff SIM turned up in the post, which was handy because I was already keeping an eye out for it while making a cup of tea. Setting it up was straightforward really, I just entered the code online, added some credit, and then waited a little while for it to kick in.
I’m giving it 4 stars because the signal didn’t show up straight away, so for a few minutes I was wondering if I’d typed something in wrong or missed a step. It sorted itself out in the end though, and it’s been working fine since.

"Goodybags feel a bit too rigid"
Changing my goodybag mid-month is more hassle than it should be. It kind of feels like I’m locked in until the next one renews, which makes me wonder if that’s sort of the point. Just wish it was a bit more flexible.

I used it while I was in Spain and yeah, it just worked. Data came through fine, no weird setup or anything like that. I was half expecting some hassle, but... no, it was straightforward...

"Payment went through, but the billing was a little confusing"
The payment itself went through fine, but uh, the bill wasn’t super clear to me. I had to look it over a couple times to understand what I was being charged for.

"Number transfer has been a hassle"
Transferring my number has been way more painful than it should be, and it’s still not sorted. I’m patient, but I do expect the basics to be handled properly, so this has been frustrating.
